LOS ANGELES, CA – The Ricardo Lara for Insurance Commissioner Campaign is proud to announce an endorsement from Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California (PPAC). The group joins an extensive coalition of activists, organizations, and Democratic leaders from across the state supporting the Insurance Commissioner’s re-election campaign.

Commissioner Lara has been a leading voice for expanding health care to all Californians, including advocating for ground-breaking legislation that will allow workers to cover their elderly parents on individual insurance policies. He also wrote legislation that would create a single-payer health care system for California.
